We’re a local charity with a simple belief: a little kindness and the right support can make a real difference.
From La Marina to Pilar de la Horadada, and inland to Orihuela, HELP Vega Baja supports individuals, families and like-minded charities across our community.
Our volunteers offer advice, information and welfare support without judgement. We work alongside town halls, social services and organisations such as the British Consulate to help people find the support they need.
We’re independent and self-funded. Our work is made possible by donations, memberships, equipment hire, our charity shop and the people who give their time.

Whether you live here or are visiting, our San Miguel Centre is a place to ask questions, find practical help and feel heard.
Advice and welfare support are free. Mobility equipment is available to hire, with discounts for members. Please contact us for current availability and charges.

Sometimes having someone to talk to is the first step. Our welfare team offers practical and emotional support, befriending and help for people caring for someone else.

If you or a family member would welcome a visit, please speak to our team. Hospital visits need permission from the patient or an authorised family member and depend on availability and the hospital’s rules.
